Jay L. Thacker

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jay is Chief Financial Officer of Wellspring Associates and has worked in the financial services industry for more than 25 years. He has vast experience in managing diversified wealth services operations, utilizing his interpersonal and analytical skills to achieve the goals of the firm and its clients.

Jay focuses his attention on ensuring that the firm’s highly affluent client base is well served with a calm approach that provides clarity and confidence. In doing so, he helps maintain Wellspring Associates’ national position as a renowned provider of Wealth Integration™.

Jay is a member of a large family that is instilled with a sense of service to the community. He is a volunteer with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he is one of the leaders over a local congregation. From 1982 to 1983, Jay lived in Italy serving as a full-time missionary for his church. He learned to speak fluent Italian and lived in seven cities throughout the central part of Italy from Naples to Forli.

Jay also enjoys time with his family and the outdoors. Jay and his extended family have a tradition of spending a holiday week on the beach each year where they unwind, play and build intricate sandcastles.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Jay attended Brigham Young University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees. While attending BYU, Jay met his wife, Julie, and became a loyal BYU football fan. They moved to Spring, Texas after college and lived there for 21 years before moving to their current home in Johns Creek, Georgia. Jay and Julie are proud parents and grandparents of three children and two grandchildren.
