Joel is a Senior Financial Planning Consultant at Wellspring Associates. He employs more than 40 years of demonstrated success in marketing, client relations, planning and management to assist the firm’s clients in achieving their goals. Joel works in partnership with Wellspring Associates advisors to evaluate and create plan designs utilizing estate, tax and business succession strategies.

Joel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at the University of South Florida. He has held the Certified Financial Planner® designation for over 35 years. Prior to joining Wellspring Associates, Joel worked with a subsidiary of a global financial services company as a personal financial planner.

A native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, Joel lived in St. Petersburg, Florida for 27 years prior to relocating to the Atlanta area. He was raised by loving parents who lived through World War II and instilled a sense of appreciation for the work and sacrifice of others. Joel has dedicated himself to a commitment of individual responsibility and service, regularly contributing to the Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled American Veterans Charity, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and various pet charities.

Joel and his wife, Mary Ann, now live in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Their son, Ryan, graduated from Georgia State University Summa Cum Laude.  In his free time, Joel enjoys the outdoors and home remodeling projects. He prides himself in being technologically and mechanically inclined.
